Make sure windows are covered with blinds or curtains. It's also good to shut off lights or rearrange lamps so they aren't hitting the tv screen.

The best way to prevent television glare is to face it in a direction that is not directly affected by light. For example, do not place the television set directly across from a window.

The best way is to move it. If moving it doesn't help, try investing in a better set of blinds--it really all depends on where the TV is located.
