It's a farming simulator: you can milk cows, collect eggs from chickens, and shear sheep. Each season there are different crops you can plant, water, and harvest. There's a mine where you smash stones to find rare metals. In winter there's a jewel mine. You also make friends with locals and can ask one of them to marry you.

You are a character and you own a farm in the game. You grow vegetables, take care of animals, make money, and became friends with the towns people in the town. To make money pick up an item and drop it in a box.

Just like any other Harvest Moon games, you play the role of a boy/girl who have been given a farm to take care of by your grandfather. The game invovles taking care of animals, planting crops and harvesting them, and even socializing with other people to improve your farm.
