The biggest key to a plush grass yard is to make sure you have the right growing conditions. First, make sure your yard is free of large rocks and the soil has been fertilized. Next, rough up the dirt a bit so it is loose. Then plant the grass and make sure it stays watered. Watering is the most important.

Planting grass is fairly simple. First you must prepare the area on which you plan to plant the grass. You can accomplish this by raking it and putting down fresh dirt. Then just sprinkle the grass seed and water.

Make sure you till the soil first. Then spread the grass seed evenly across the whole section where you want to grow grass. You can use a spreader to do this, or do it by hand. Water every other day and the grass will start growing pretty quick.
