In the majority of the country, plant grass either before or after summer. It is difficult to keep the soil for the seeds moist during the peak of the summer.

The best is the spring and fall. You want to plant when the sun is not hot and there is alot of rain. You can even plant in the spring if there is snow. This will give more moisture to the seeds and make them grow. They will not freeze. The snow put on a blanket and keeps them warm.

the best time to plant grass is either the beginning of april or even better september aprils ok but you can be caught by frost september is better because the grounds still warm and the grass will have chance to establish itself for the next spring season also it rains more in september
