How do you make your own eye primer?

Answer by  Jaquelynne (594)

Most recipies call for concealer or foundation and a very thick lotion, or better yet, body butter. I have found that a really thick foundation or concealer works best. Mix the two together until there are no lumps. Some recipies I have found suggest using Nivea cream, but it isn't required.

To make your own primer, simply get foundation. Dream Matte Mouse is the best. Make sure that it is light and fluffy. Put it on your lids, following foundation powder.

This is a tricky subject. Personally, I've always bought mine to avoid needing to deal with it but there are many reliable teachers you can go to for an answer.

Really you can just use the foundation that you would normally use on the rest of your face, especially if you are using a liquid or cream foundation. It will work as good as a primer.
