How do you make homemade horseradish?

Remove the leaves from the root of the horseradish and clean it. Peel the surface skin off the tuber.Chop into pieces. Put into a food processor. Add a couple table spoons of water. Process it until well ground. Add a table spoon of white vinegar and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Pulse it to combine.

It depends on whether you want to make horseradish or horseradish sauce. Making homemade horseradish simply involves peeling and grating or grinding or processing the root. There are plenty of detailed instructions online that tell you step by step how to do this. Simply google it.

1 cup peeled and chopped horseradish root 1/2 cup white vinegar 2 teaspoons sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt Put horseradish into blender with water until crushed. Strain off excess water. Add vinegar immediately, (soothes hotness), and salt. Mix well. Keeps in fridge in jar 3-4 weeks. n.B. very powerful, watch eyes.

Using electric food processor, blend 1 cup peeled & cubed horseradish root; 3/4 cup white vinegar & 2 tablespoons white sugar & 1/4 tsp salt; remove cover store in refrigerator.
