Fill a regular spray bottle half full with hot water. Dissolve a tablespoon of Borax in it, and then add a teaspoon of white vinegar and a few drops of tea tree oil. Shake the bottle to mix, and then add about an 1/8th of a cup of Dawn dish washing liquid. This makes a great all-purpose cleaner.
You can make a lot of cleaning products with vinegar. I use a multi-purpose cleaner made from a quarter cup of vinegar, a quarter cup of alcohol in a 16 oz. squirt bottle and fill the rest with water. You can clean all surfaces and wood floors with this solution for shiny, clean results.
White vinegar works great for dissolving dirt, hard water scum, and deodorizing. Baking soda is mildly abrasive and works wonders for scouring, it can also be sprinkled into your washing machine to deodorize clothing.
