A wet room can be made by ensuring the room has a floor which drains into a central plug hole and whose surfaces are all quite watertight using tiles. It may increase the value of your home if you are selling to people who like less conventional bathrooms.

The most important thing to take into consideration is the material you use in the wall. Do NOT use regular dry wall or it will fall apart within a year.
