All U-joints will have a grease fitting normally located on the corner of the center section of the joint. These fittings require a grease gun to lube, You'll want a good marine grease, as the hold up the longest. Do not remove the U-joint caps, as the needle bearings are prone to coming out of the caps.

The best way to lubricate a U Joint on a lower unit is with any commercial oil based product. WD-40 or 3-in-1 will work fine.
