In order to draw people, you should notice details on them first. I suggest the saying, "practice makes perfect." Therefore if you don't get it right the first time, just try again. I would start off by tracing and sketching and then you will be able to focus on human details.

It is easier if you remember the human body is still made out of basic shapes, circles, triangles, and rectangles. You can make a mini-model, then refine it.
