When you feel good being with the other and, when you miss that person when she/he is away. When you share the same interests. When you plan to do, to build things together in the futur. When you feel the need to have kid together. Those are very good clues.

If he is not seeing anyone else but you and if you are living together, you can assume that you are in a serious relationship.
