How do you know if a piano is good?

I've found this old piano in my grandmother's vacation home, and I think it's a really nice one, but someone told me it wasn't worth anything and they would take it off my hands. I think they are just trying to take advantage of me.

A piano is considered good, if it has been tuned regularly as well as had the strings and body kept in good shape.
