First, think long and hard and realize that it is a contract that is very difficult to break. Next, search online for your local recruiting station. Go in and talk to some recruiters. You'll have to take the ASVAB to test your skills and make sure you're good enough to go into the military. Then just work with the recruiters.

Make an appointment with a naval recruiter. There are various screening processes and testing that clear you through to the next level before you leave for Basic Military Training. There are lots of websites that detail the requirements, particularly the physical fitness requirements. You must have a high school diploma or GED. College graduates are eligible for OTS.

If you are a US citizen or Green card holder who is over 18, hasn't committed any serious crimes, and graduated High School/GED, simply call a Navy recruiter
