How do you install vinyl window flanges?

You will need to install them below the window by removing any moldings or extensions and sticking the lip behind where the molding will go. Once it is in you can bend to fit and than reattach your molding or extension. Make sure that it works properly before bolting it all back up.

The best way to install window flanges is to be sure to thoroughly waterproof the side being attached to the outside of your home.

I decorate the windows with flanges. I use a drill for the holes and a screw driver after carefully measuring for preciseness. Sometimes it takes two people to hang vinyl flanges.

I would install the flanges with nails. That is the most common and easiest way to do it. Just make sure you do not make them too tight.
