How do you install the speakers driver for Altec speakers?

You can install the cd provided with the speakers. If you have lost the cd, you can surely find it on the Altec-Lansing website under support and downloads. Simply download and install.

Speakers generally do not require drivers. So long as your computer is outputting audio to other devices (like headphones), these speakers should work fine. If that's not the case, you need to figure out what's wrong with your computer. Perhaps you should look into reinstalling the driver for your sound card.

If your speakers need a special driver (which most don't), then they should have some with an installation cd, or you should be able to download the driver from the manufacturer's website.

Well just google the Altec driver and you will find a place to download the driver. Then install electronically on the computer.
