You can use additional light fixtures on the ceiling or on the walls, like spot lights. They can all be linked on the same power source.

You will need to run electrical cable to the new location and a light switch and possibly cut a hole in the ceiling or wall where you want the fixture attached. Once the electrical is run, you simply install the light according to the instructions that came with the fixture.
