First you need to determine the size of your area you will be monitoring. Find a location that covers the greatest area. Now depending on your camera you may need to mount a molding bracket to the wall in the direction you want the camera facing. Make sure you have the camera wired into your monitor network as well.

Unfortunately, every security camera is different. Without knowing the exact make and model, the only way to know how it can be installed is to read the manual.

Well it depends where you want it and what you want to hook it up to. If its a kit it should have instructions.
