Remove the old engine, making sure to support the transmission. Carefully lower the new engine into place. Connect the transmission to the new engine, and then move the engine into place so it can be secured by the motor mounts. Then you will need to begin reattachehing vacuum hoses, coolant hoses, fuel lines, electrical wire, etc.

This is how to install a 6.5 liter diesel engine. First you go to an auto parts store and get an Engine hoist and a chain . First take all the wires off Then hook the chain to the engine already in the car and jack up the hoist. Do the reverse to to install .Thankyou.

First, remove your old engine, ensuring that all ground straps, hydraulic lines, and electrical connections are removed. Installation is reverse of removal.

Ensure motor will fit the mounts that are in vehicle motor compartment. Slowly lower motor onto mounts line up bellhousing of transmission bolt together then bolt mounts on motor.
