Ensure that all devices (computer, device, cable) are USB 2. 0 compliant. Reduce the number of connected USB devices. Connect it directly to the computer, instead of through any hubs.

Well there is no way to speed up a usb be connection aside from upgrading a type 1 to a usb 2. 0 system. The transfer speed is set by the medium itself with little gain to be made from the software itself. So you can't do anything to make data move from point a to b any faster.

Look for software that maybe can increase the speed :D and of curse reduce the number of connection on single hub..

If you use a USB 2 device and connect it to a USB 1. 1 port, you can switch it to a USB 2 port.

A faster processor will increase transfer speed. Making sure that unnecessary programs are closed will help the transfer speed greatly.
