The average transfer rates for usb 2.0 is inbetween 120MB/s to 180MB/s. This is the basic standards for most cables and ports make sure that you keep an eye on what you choose. usb 3.0 has a higher echange rate while Usb 1.0 or higher is lower than 2.0. It also depends on the systems your using.

Usb 2.0 reaches a peak transfer rate of 480mbit/s which equals 60mbyte/s. You will not get that as a sustained rate though.

The standard USB transfer data at a rate of less than 480Mbps whereas the USB 2.0 transfer data at 480Mbps which is more than serial and parallel transfer rate.

For the older usb version the transfer rate was 12Mbits per second. But now the most common and faster usb version 2.0 is 480Mbits per second. You wont really find a usb 1.1 though unless you're dealing with older computers.
