Flea bites are a red bump with a tiny hole in the center. Fire ants leave tiny rash-looking bumps that usually fill up with a white pus. Bed bugs leave itcy bites mostly on arms and shoulders. Ticks love warm-body areas and are blood suckers. Lice hang onto hair follicles.

There are different types of ways to identify an insect bite. You first want to let the swelling go down to see what the actual mark looks like. You then need to go to a library to get a first aid book for insects in your area, this will help id them.

One of the best things to do if you have been bitten is to see your doctor. Especially if it grows turns red or has any side effects. You can also find many answers on the internet. Common things that will help your search are counting puncture holes in bite.
