Log on on your Facebook Account or the account that you want the tagged picture removed, after you logging on, click on the profile tabs (usually at right corner), click on photos tab, find the offensive pictures, then click to open it. Search your account name on "in this picture" section below it, there should a command to remove tags.

Go to the "Settings" button in the top menu. Click on it, and then go to "Privacy Settings". Then you should click on "Profile" in the center of the page. In the middle of the next screen you should see "Photos tagged of you". Click on the menu, and go to "Customize". You can choose "Only me". It will work

First, you need to go to settings in the top right corner. Secondly, press privacy. Then click profile, then you can change who can view your tagged photos.

You can go to your account settings and set viewing privileges for your entire friends list. You could also untag yourself.

You cannot entirely hide a tagged photo if you were not the person who submitted the photo. You are able to click 'untag' - which will untag you from the photo, but the photo will still exist and be visible.

I know that you can remove yourself from a tagged photo. Just go to the photo and click remove tag.
