Aloe Vera is best grown in a pot as it is very susceptible to cold damage. It can be grown in a bright window with no hot sun, or can be kept outdoors in a shady area during warm months. It is very drought tolerant. Water when it's very dry.
Aloes a very simple to grow. They are very hardy, and will accept a lot of poor conditions, however, for the best success, put in a place where they get a lot of indirect light and water sparingly.
