To find birth dates of people it is easiest to look the person up on social networking sites. Also using search engines is useful or ask the person's friends.

One way I find out someones birthdate is I do a search for them on facebook or on myspace. I also like to use google when I'm looking up a specific person or persons birthdate.

Search the internet, try to find high school yearbooks with dates. Speak to any family or friends you know of the person.

I use any instant messenger data. Many times they enter it in there. Social web pages will have it as well. Otherwise public records might have it.
