How do you go about exterminating a daddy long legs spider?

Unfortunately spiders are very hard to completely remove from your house because there are so many of them. You can use bug sprays to kill individual spiders or call an exterminator if you think you have an infestation.

You can squash it either by stepping on it or taking a paper towel and pressing on it until it dies. Or you could pick it up and flush it down the toilet. Surely it would drown. You could also kill it by spraying it with a bug exterminating spray.

Trip them. After all their long legs could be used against them. Simply locate them and with a pencil or any other long and narrow instrument trip them.

Generally any insecticide good for killing spiders will work. Daddy long legs are not immune to such poison and will die immediately.

You can purchase a bug spray or repellant from the hardware store that will kill existing bugs and prevent more bugs from comming around. Follow the directions on the bottle
