Sometimes a little trickiness is needed to get your dog to take medicine. Try slipping the pill into a soft treat to hide it.

I have found with my German Shepherd that the simplist and easist way is to put the pill in something easy to eat and hand feed it to her. The key is to watch and make sure the dog doesn't spit it out. For me what has worked best is a piece of bread, smushed up.
