The desire to have your record closed must be made to a court having jurisdiction over your record. The court may decide against your request.

Counsel can request that a record be sealed. It is up to the judge to determine if the reason is sufficient to deny the public access to these records.

There has to be a good reason for it to be sealed. If there is you can have your parole officer present it to the governor's office for consideration.
