Alton Towers can only be accessed by car or bus. The nearest train stations are Stoke and Uttoxeter. You can get a train to one of these stations, then catch a shuttle bus from either train station directly to the site. Buses also run from Leek, Nottingham and Derby bus stations. If travelling by train, travel to Stoke-on-Trent or Derby. If you are coming by car, you will find Alton Towers between the M1 and the M6 on the A50.
