How do you get rid of kitten ringworm?

My new kitten has ringworm.

There are a couple of things to try. The most common treatment is an anti-fungal cream containing miconazole or thiabendazole. If the kitten is long-haired, you may have to shave the affected area. For a severe case, you may need to try a lime sulfur dip.

Because ringworm is contagious to humans, you need to treat the kitten. Most vets will prescribe an ivermectin treatment or perhaps an antifungal shampoo.
