There are a couple of things to try. The most common treatment is an anti-fungal cream containing miconazole or thiabendazole. If the kitten is long-haired, you may have to shave the affected area. For a severe case, you may need to try a lime sulfur dip.

All brushes toys carpets etc should be washed as they can catch it again a cream from your vet should be acquired containing miconazole or thiabendazole.
