The old timers swear by clove oil for toothaches. Other people use Tylenol or some other pain reliever. There are dental gels that numb the aching area for a time.

You should make an appointment with your dentist as you may have an infection or cavity. To temporarily relieve the pain take some tylenol or other pain medication.

Go to the dentist and get checked out. Tooth pain can indicate many different problems. Ignoring the pain can lead to many bad things. Tooth loss and severe, possibly life threatening, infection among many others.

The obvious answer is go to see a dentist but, if that is not an option, you could rub a small amount of oil of cloves on the affected teeth.

You must know the reason for the toothache. This can only be accomplished by seeking the attention of a reputable dentist, who will examine and xray the area.
