There are many flea killing carpet sprays available. Choose one that contains a growth inhibitor to stop the fleas' life cycle. Another good method is to sprinkle Borate powder on the carpet and leaving it over night. Vacuum with powerful vacuum cleaner.

Usually if you want to be sure they are gone you repalce the carpet and if you cannot do that you will need to find some form of a flea soap that kills on contact and you must understand that even if it kills the adult flea there is no soap that kills the eggs.

A simple way to remove fleas from carpet is to set a long-lasting candle in a dish of soapy water and place the dish near the carpet.

4 cats and I don't have fleas because I sprinkle boric acid into the carpets and beat it in deep with a shoe. I also treat the furniture.
