The flush kits sold at your local auto parts store's do a good job. This kit will have you place a tee in your heater hose line. Then you will flush your entire cooling system with a garden hose. The kits are very easy to install and very good directions, minimal tools required. Sometimes two bottles of the flush chemical are required.

Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the radiator, or if you don't have one remove the lower hose. Then drain into containment bucket(don't spill antifreeze is a poison)

Cut one of your heater hoses in half and fit the flush kit inline with the hoses. Connect a garden hose to the kit and the diverter to the radiator and the other hose to a bucket. Start you car and put your heater on high and turn on garden hose.
