How do you fix squeaky floors?

I can't oil them!

First you'll want to look for loose nails and staples firstly. Then try sprinkling some baby powder, talcum powder, along the baseboards and at the connectors. If that doesn't work add some more nails by the edge of the baseboards. That may tighten up the boards and make them less squeaky.

You'll have to pull up the current floor, and just put a bunch of screws in the subfloor in the areas where the squeaking is occurring. Sometimes if the subfloor was improperly installed, it will squeak; and the screws will alleviate the problem.
