How do you fix a leaky kitchen faucet?

I don't know a lot about plumbing but I'd like to try to fix it myself.

Y First turn off the water under the sink. Remove the faucet handles which have a set screw with an allen wrench. take out the old o-rings.

First you will want to shut off the water supply, then remove the faucet head. Most likely the washer inside the faucet head needs replacement. Remove and replace the washer.

This depends on the leak. If your seeing water under the sink, be sure it's the fauce itself, and not a poor seal on the sink. If the faucet won't turn off, replace it, it's far easier than repairing and often costs only a fraction more than repair.

You would have to put in a new seal where you turn it off and on and if that doesn't work you would have to replace the whole kitchen faucet which is easy and most likely cheaper than having a pumber do it for you. Try seals first because that would probably be the problem first.
