How do you find the serial number for a Windows XP Home Edition?

If you have the original software, the serial number (or Key as it is more commonly refered to) should be in/on the disk sleeve. More commonly, the Key could be located on a sticker in the rear of the computer case. Or you can do an internet search for a key finder.

It should have come with the CD - if it's not printed on the CD itself, look for the box it came with.
