After boiling the wort and adding hops transfer to a carboy and then pitch the active yeast in. Typically takes 7 to 10 days to ferment.

To properly ferment beer, Make sure everything is clean. also, be sure to use beer yeast. Drop the yeast in the brew, and it should take 1-2 months.

After you add the yeast to the wort it will break the sugar down into alcohol. The time frame depends on the type of yeast and the alcohol content desired.
