Click on File...Export.. and then choose the location of the Distribution List or Contacts. You will then be given the open of file format. CSV serves well for export into Excel and almost any database driven program. Once the file is exported simply open it up in Excel. You may need to format it a bit.

Open Microsoft Office and select File from the file menu. Look for Import/Export and select it. It'll open a box asking what you want to do. It's self-explanatory from there.

In the toolbar at the top, first go to file. Then go to "Import and Export". Then select "Export to a File", then choose "Microsoft Excel." Just follow the wizard from there

It does not appear to be possible to directly export an Outlook distribution list to Excel. Instead, right click the DL in the contacts list, choose 'send full contact', then select 'Internet format (vCard)'. You'll be shown an email with an attachment - use this attachment within Excel.

Click on contacts, double click on the list to edit, save file as a text file and open the text file in Excel. And that should do it for you.
