In whichever browser you are using, you will have to go to 'Internet Options', usually found under tools, and delete browsing history, then set to do this upon closing.

Depending on which web browser you use, select "preferences", usually from the Edit or File application menus, and find the security and privacy section. In this section, you will probably see a button or tab titled "autocomplete" or "auto-fill". From here you should be able to select "clear history" or "clear autocompete data".

It's fairly easy to erase search data from your browser. All browsers have the option to clear browsing data and it should be somewhere in the options menu or settings menu of your browser, depending on the type of browser you use. I'm not sure if you could erase just a single search.

Open your internet browser. Click "Tools." On the drop down list, Click "Internet Options." Click "Clear History" and then click "Yes" then click "Ok."
