When you go into your security settings, there is a on and off toggle for the firewall that turns it on. It should also appear in the menu bar on the lower right as a little green shield with a check in it if it is on and you can click that to access security settings to turn it off.

Well there should be a option under the control panel. This should list all the windows security feature. There will be a tab that says windows firewall. Click into this and it should let you turn it off. Just make sure to have a secondary firewall running to keep your pc safe.

Click the Start-button and select the Control Panel. Double-click the Security Center. On the bottom of the window, click "Windows Firewall", choose "Off (not recommended)" and confirm by clicking "OK".
