Go with a menu that is relatively inexpensive, and that you can produce for a larger number of people. You should also go off of the palate of the birthday boy or girl; making it a little more personal.

Depending on what everyone likes, I usually go with the traditional hot dogs and hamburgers, also going with a pizza party is a great dinner or lunch idea that almost everyone likes.
