How do you describe art?

Art can be defined as the stretch of anyone's imagination. We use art in our everyday lives whether it be to creatively solve problems or the way we sign our names to our checks. Art is everywhere and it needs to be appreciated.

When describing art I usually begin by simply saying what I see. Describe the colors that you see: red, green, etc. Describe the type of line that the artist uses: thick,dynamic, linear, or zigzag. Then what you see and how these things make you feel.
