I would say a business that the majority of its sales are generated by internet site hit, where the products are displayed, sold and paid for by internet processes are ebusiness. Companies like Amazon that have no brick and wood stores are the prefect example of ebusinesses. These require much less capital to get started are also a major indication.

E-business is defined as any business that performs its primary business functions online. Its sales and customer interactions take place electronically on the world wide web.
