Most doctors prescribe a cream that has of permethrin in it. Basically you shower good, put the cream on your body, arms, legs, including up to your neck. Leave it on the time the directions say and then rinse it off. You may itch awhile afterwards from irritation. You'll also need to disinfect and clean carpets, clothes, etc.

If you have scabies then you definately have to go to the doctor and get medicine. Scabies is a lice that gets under your skin. Bathe better and deep cleaning your house can help you greatly. Wash your bed sheets and pillow cases. Spray your furniture with disinfectant and lice killer.
