What do scabies look like?

Scabies are caused by mites burrowing under the skin. This causes red bumps and tiny blisters on the skin as well as irregular tracks made by the burrowing.

Scabies can have a rash and skin sores. You may also see thin pencil like marks on your skin. The sores on your skin can appear as blisters full of darker green puss. Scabbies will usually appear in the folds of the knees and between the fingers on adults. It can also present in the groin area.

Scabies is found in specific areas on the body including between the fingers, the wrists, elbows, knees, in the belly and belly button area, around the nipples, along the feet, in the genital area and on the buttocks.

Scabies are intense itching on skin, causing rashes, superficial burrows and secondary infection. Sometimes blisters and pustules can also appear on skin. 'S' shaped tracks and small pimple like growth are seen on skin. Scabies usually occur in the crevices of the body such as webs of finger, toes, feet, buttocks, elbows, waist area, genital area, under breasts and axila.

Scabies usually presents in a warm, hidden place on the body. It appears as a red rash and is usually very itchy. In rare cases, it crusts over (and is difficult to treat). Sometimes there are very thin white or red lines near the rash.

The skin is infected by parasites and cause intense itching and rashes. The female parasite burrows into the skin to lay eggs. The burrows looks like "s" on skin surface.

Scabies look like a really bad rash! Your skin is red, irritated, dry, hurts & itches really bad and it flakes off!! I heard that Scabies is a very bad thing to have! Def. get it checked out!

There is itching in web spaces of fingers and toes. Excessive itching causes small red nodules in the web spaces. Generalized itching also occurs all over the trunk.

Scabies look s like red bumps called papules blisters and maybe scabs in a rash like appearance. The are generally contagious and are caused by a mite burrowing or tunneling under the skin which may look like thin gray, brown, or red lines under the skin in the affected areas. They may only live for apporoximatly 36 hours.

Usally they look like red patches of bumps all over your body. Second they are usally extremly itchy many compare this to the chicken pox. Also, keep in mind that they are extremly contagous and can even effect your pets, so if you think you may have them see your doctor as soon as possible.
