You must submit the ticket with a claim to contest in court with a plea of not guilty. You can then attest to the fact that you did in fact yield.

The best way to contest any traffic ticket is simply to show up in court. Ticketing officers generally don't show up in traffic court and the case will be dismissed.

To contest a failure to yield, bring proof into court that it did not occur. This can be done in the form of either a witness or a video.

You will have to go in front of court or speak to your local District Attorney about this. You can also write a letter on contest to the Police Department.
