It varies largely on the brand and particular model of the cell phone. Usually, though, you should press the options button when in cell phone history menu, then selecting delete all.
To clear your recent cell phone history, you will need to go into your last recent call list. In there, you can delete any calls that you dialed and received.
You can delete your call history by going into your call log and selecting dialed numbers. After you have selected this all of the numbers you have dialed will appear. Select Options and you will be given a list of options one being delete. Select delete.
