Intially do not put your fingers on screen. Remove dust from the stand or cabinet, then take a good duster (old-fashioned) made of soft cloth or feather duster. Do not scratch. Again, use a cloth to wipe off smears. A mild soap can be used, but not glass cleaners.

All you need is a bottle of basic glass cleaner and a couple of soft washcloths. Spray the mirror with the cleaner and then wipe clean with one of the cloths. If stains persist, reapply the cleaner and wipe again. Avoid using an abrasive cleaner and/or rough cloth. Using these items could damage the mirror.
