when you notice the coffee pot is run slower, you get white vinegar and put it in the back pot and turn it on. Let it run till the vinegar is done. I run it twice, so throw vinegar away and put more in and run again. Dump it out of the pot and run water a couple of times.

The best way to clean a coffee pot is with vinager. If its a drip coffee maker just put 1/4 vinager to 1 cup water and run it thru cycle.

Soak in the sink with equal parts hot water and white vinegar. Then run through normal dishwasher cycle with dishwashing detergent.
