How do you choose the right hamster?

An active hamster will be noisy while you are trying to sleep. They chew on their cage to keep their teeth from growing in length, same as a rabbit. A quiet hamster is extremely mellow, and you will be able to pick him up and hold him.

Dont choose one that is too old or one that has crusty's around the nose because that could indicate an illness. An active hamster shows signs of healthiness.
