In Microsoft Word document, open first the Microsoft Word Launcher that can be seen in your desktop background and go to the upper part of the program click the "File" wait for the pop up and find the "Page Setup" then hit. When you are in a page setup find the word "Landscape" then click "OK".

In Office 2007, click on Page Layout at the top navigation bar. Click on Orientation (third option from the left). Click on Landscape and the document display will change.

In Word 2007 navigate to Page Layout -> Orientation to change the orientation of the page. To change the orientation of the current page without changing previous pages, insert breaks by navigating Page Layout -> Breaks -> Next Page would cause all pages from the next page onwards to change orientation. Repeat again to change orientation.

In any version of office, you can do this. In 2007, click 'Page Layout', then 'Orientation', and then select landscape. In older versions, you will need to find a similar option. I think in 2003, you could find this option under Edit or View. If you want to change the way it prints, you can select it in print preview.
